The CA Series are easy-to-install column array speakers designed to combine excellent speech intelligibility, a contemporary aesthetic, and integration-friendly mounting options. Two mounting systems are available to accommodate different room layouts and sizes. The PT models include a pan and tilt mount for maximum speaker aiming flexibility, while the LP models include a low‑profile mount for minimal protrusion from the wall. Available in black or white, the CA Series are integration-friendly solutions for reverberant environments.
The SMK CA Series wall mounting system is designed for one person to mount the CA 163, CA 83T, and CA 43T to the wall securely. A wall-mounting template is included that makes it quick and easy to accurately position the speaker mounts. Once the mounts are installed, an innovative slot on the rear of the speaker easily allows it to slide to the desired height.
Integration-Friendly Mounting Systems
To accommodate various speaker aiming and placement requirements, the CA Series offers two options for mounting:
The SMK PT CA Mounting System provides up to 130° pan and 15° tilt, while the low-profile SMK LP CA Mounting System offers a 5° tilt. Both mounting options are available in black or white finish, and are paintable.

Application Diagram
In this small auditorium, a pair of CA 163 Column Array speakers are used on the front wall as main program speakers, driven by an XPA U 3502 power amplifier. Two pairs of CA 83T Column Array speakers are used as fills at the rear of the auditorium for balcony seating and under the balcony. The four fill speakers are driven by two NetPA U 1002 network power amplifiers for ease of cabling. An SF 10C SUB and NetPA U 8001 SUB, subwoofer and network power amplifier combo, add the low frequencies needed for impactful program audio. All audio sources are mixed and processed by a DMP 64 Plus C AT, with its Dante connectivity to the fill and subwoofer amplifiers.
